Aside the ski slopes

Bobsleighing, winter- or snow shoe hiking, ski tours, ice skating, ..., there are an infinite number of fun activities to do aside of the ski slopes.

Bobsleighing:
Walk up or take the ski lift up to an unforgettable bobsleighing session equally exciting for young an old. At 3km from Alpendorf you will also find an illuminated bobsleighing slope in the city centre of St. Johann.

Ski Tours:
Have you ever experienced the serenity of gliding along untouched slopes? Discover the most beautiful sun rise spectacle or go for mystic moonshine tours on your tour skis. For your personal safety inquire at the Alpendorf Bergbahnen ski lifts what the current snow and weather conditions are, as well as possible risks of avalanches, before you start you tour.

Winter Hike:
Spend some wonderful hours in pure nature and hike along approx. 20 kilometers beautiful winter hiking tracks.

Ice Skating:
Skate in Sankt Johann-Alpendorf on an artificial ice skating rink in the village centre.
The ice skating rink is open from mid November to mid February.

Opening hours:
daily from 1:30 to 4 pm, Thursdays and Fridays night skating from 7 to 9 pm.
Every Saturday ice disco from 7 to 9 pm.
