Alpine summer & harvest festival

As soon as the leaves start to turn golden, the harvest festival begins in Salzburg’s sporting world.

It is traditional for farmers to offer their homemade delicacies:
Freshly baked farmer’s bread, cheese, milk products and sausages, oils with herbs, homemade schnapps and of course typical specialties such as “Kasnocken”, “Fleischkrapfen” with Sauerkraut or “Pofesen”.
